How do I secure my booking with Ionie Creations?

Booking Deposit: Any booking deposits made for either the hire of equipment or supply of services are taken to secure equipment. Deposits are non-returnable  The deposit will be 50% of your total bill.

Question 3

When should I book your services?

Accepted Answer

For weddings and large events, we recommend booking as early as possible to secure your date. For milestone celebrations and corporate events, booking at least 6–8 weeks in advance is ideal, though we do accept last-minute enquiries subject to availability.

Which areas do you cover?

Accepted Answer

Our services are available throughout Essex, London, and Suffolk. We do consider events beyond these areas on a case-by-case basis, subject to availability and travel requirements.

How long are quotes valid for?

Once Ionie Creations issues you with your personal quote (free and no-obligation) it will remain valid for a period of 14 days for you to make a decision and pay a deposit if you wish to proceed with your booking.

Question 6

Do I have to pay a damage deposit?

Accepted Answer

*This damage deposit is separate from your non‑refundable booking deposit.

Yes. A refundable damage deposit is required for all bookings. The minimum deposit is £150, and the exact amount depends on the number of fragile or breakable items included in your order. Larger props carry a separate damage deposit.

The damage deposit is refunded within 5 working days after your event, giving us time to check all items and ensure everything has been returned in good condition.

How do I cancel a booking with Ionie Creations?

If you would like to cancel a confirmed booking, you must do so in writing (email: Ioniecreations@gmail.com) before 14 days leading up to the event. The deposit paid to secure your booking remains non-returnable. The full amount of the balance is applicable if your booking is cancelled within 14 days of your booking date.

Do you have Terms and Conditions?

Yes. All bookings are subject to our Terms and Conditions, which cover payment schedules, cancellations, changes to bookings, hire agreements for single items, and other important details. These are designed to ensure clarity and a smooth planning process for every event. A copy of the full Terms and Conditions will be provided with quote.

What types of events do you style?

I specialise in styling weddings, milestone celebrations (such as birthdays, engagements, anniversaries, and baby showers), and corporate events. From intimate gatherings to large-scale occasions, each event is styled with care and attention to detail.

Do you provide stationery for events?

We create beautifully tailored event stationery, including welcome signs, seating plans, place cards, and menus. Every piece is designed to complement your chosen theme and styling, adding a polished and personalised touch to your celebration.
This service is available when booked alongside other hire items.

Do you offer single-item hire?

Absolutely. In addition to full event styling packages, we offer individual hire on our larger props, including flower walls, arches, backdrops, and LED letters. This is a perfect way to add a statement piece to your event without booking a full package. Availability and hire requirements may apply.

Are any props at Ionie Creations for sale?

Accepted Answer

All props and décor items are available for hire only, with prices based on daily rates. We take great care to ensure every item is clean, well‑maintained, and in full working order before it leaves our storage.
Once hired, the items become the full responsibility of the hirer, who will be liable for any loss or damage that occurs during the hire period.

Do you provide full room draping?

Draping is available behind top/sweet heart tables only. We do not do full wall or ceiling draping, but can collaborate with other vendors to complete your vision.

Do you work with my existing vendors or planner?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We are happy to collaborate with your planner, venue, florist, and other vendors to ensure a seamless and cohesive event experience.

Can you style events at any venue?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We style events across homes, private properties, outdoor locations, function spaces, and corporate venues. Venue access and styling requirements will be discussed during planning.

Do you provide on-the-day setup and pack down?

Yes. All styling services include professional setup and pack down to ensure everything looks perfect and runs smoothly on the day.
